On behalf of ISB, we have the great pleasure to announce that the winner of the 2019 Carlo De Luca Emerging Scientist Award sponsored by the De Luca Foundation is Dr. Adrian Ka Ming Lai, Simon Fraser University, Canada, for his work titled “Reverse engineering motor unit recruitment: A framework for studying motor unit recruitment during dynamic movement”.
The award honors excellence in graduate research in the area of motor control and electromyography and is associated with a monetary award of $ US 2,500.
Dr. Lai presented his work in the award’s session at the 2019 ISB Congress in Calgary, Canada, on Sunday August 4th, 2019.
