Grant from the NSF to Support Ten Travel Awards at the Upcoming Motor Control Symposium, ASCM 2018, Minneapolis, USA

The Motor Control Symposium at ACSM, held annually since 2016, covers a wide spectrum of topics on biomechanics and motor control in the sport sciences. The theme of the 2018 symposium isInnovative Techniques towards a New Approach to Sports and Exercise and attending such a unique event that brings together researchers from motor control, sports medicine and exercise science is important for students’ and fellow researchers as they can be exposed to the new developments in the field.

NSF-funded travel grants in the amount of $ 500 per student will support 10 US-based undergraduate or graduate students who can benefit from attending this conference but have limited travel funds. We thank NSF for the financial assistance and we encourage ACSM attendees to take part in the symposium to make it yet another successful event.
