On behalf of ISB, we have the great pleasure to announce that the winner of the 2015 Emerging Scientist Award sponsored by Professor Carlo J De Luca is Dr. Shota Hagio, Japan Society for the Promotion of Science and Kyoto University, for his work titled “Existence of muscle synergies increases learning speed: simulation study based on neural network model”.
The award honors excellence in graduate research in the area of motor control and electromyography and is associated with a monetary award of $ US 2,500.
Dr. Hagio will present his work in the award’s session at the 2015 ISB Congress in Glasglow on Thursday, July 16th, from 2:20-4:10pm.
