Delsys Prize was an annual contest that was introduced in 2003 by the founder of De Luca Foundation, Carlo J. De Luca, to highlight innovation in the use of electromyography. The contest was awarded 18 times between 2003 and 2021 from a field of over 1000 entries from 54 countries, and was retired in 2021. The entries represented a remarkably broad range of interests in diverse areas such as Biomechanics, Physiology, Signal Processing, Robotics, and Rehabilitation, among many others. Winners received brand-new electromyography equipment provided by Delsys, Inc., a cash award, and physiological data analysis software licensed by ADInstruments.
