Delsys China, with the support of De Luca Foundation and The ISB Working Group in Motor Control, hosted the symposium on Motor Control in Speech, Voice and Swallowing on July 2nd 2019 in Beijing, China.
The symposium on “head, cervical muscle research on the application of voice, speech and whimper” featured 40 internationally distinguished experts and scholars from more than 10 universities and hospitals including:
- “Surface EMG measurements for different voice tasks: A preliminary study” by Mr. Fei-fan Wang and Prof. Edwin Yiu
- “Surface EMG characteristics of patients with functional dysphonia” by Dr. Jing Yang and Prof. Wen Xu
- “dEMG analysis in speech and voice” by Dr. Wei Pengxu
- “Predicting optimal facial EMG control of communication devices for individuals with motor speech disorders” and “Multi-modal control and predictive communication interfaces” by Ms. Jenny Vojtech
