Who can Participate
The applicant must be a student at a domestic or international academic institution. The applicant must have submitted an abstract to one of the supported conferences, and the abstract must be accepted for presentation as either a poster or oral presentation.
Applications for WCB attendees are closed. WCB attendee applications for the Student Travel Award were accepted up to December 19th, 2017 via the WCB Awards & Travel Bursaries page. Only students who submitted an abstract to the “Motor Control” session will be considered. If you submitted your application through the WCB Awards & Travel Bursaries page, you do not need to re-apply here.
Awards will be paid in the amounts of $500/student for the WCB attendees, and $400/student for the ACSM, ASB, ECSS and CSB attendees. The awards will be distributed via mail, and will be paid directly to the student.
Applicants are requested to submit the abstract that has been accepted for presentation as either an oral or poster presentation at one of the supported conferences. We will consider multiple abstract submissions from a single student regardless of conference, however a student can only receive one award. Should multiple students submit for an award using the same abstract and the abstract is deemed worthy of receiving an award, we will only provide one award for the abstract.
All entries must be received by 11:59 PM EST. on April 30, 2018.
